Help Save The Next Girl has begun the expansion of outreach by establishing student branches of the national campaign. Virginia Tech forged the path by founding the first official chapter in January 2012 with the hope of spreading the message of Help Save The Next Girl – a message that is so important to young women everywhere. Founding a chapter at your high school, college or university is the perfect way to promote the awareness and resources necessary to keep your friends and loved ones safe.

Our desire is to shift the culture of complacency in response to violence at its core, and we believe that it starts with us. Our goal is to provide our community with opportunities to learn defense strategies, present to them an abundant supply of resources if they or loved ones have been victims of violence, and ultimately, to suggest a perspective that will encourage families, friends, and communities to look out for one another.
